There are so many variables that go into playing good golf, however as it relates to technique, I firmly believe there is no one particular way to successfully swing the golf club, pitch, chip, or putt. History would support that. However, I do believe there are many components that balance out and fit together like a puzzle for a cohesive unit. These components are unique to each individual for a multitude of reasons. Making improvements starts with the root cause of the largest issue at hand, and then progress is accelerated from there.
Each private lesson that I give is followed up with a summary of the lesson that is emailed to the student. This will typically include some video or still shots pertaining to what was covered. This helps the student fully understand the material that was covered, and serves as a nice point of reference for them down the road.
I also have experience with building clinic schedules and plans, as well as junior programs.

In this instance the student’s swing path was too far out to in causing a loss of distance as well as too much ball curvature from left to right.
The improvements that were made in the top of the backswing were derived from an increased shoulder turn. This gives her the ability to keep her shoulders from opening up too early in the downswing.

This student struggled with “fat” and “thin” shots with a loss of power. He had an obvious lack of weight transfer that contributed to his inability to consistently control the bottom of his arc. We worked to get his knees close together and belt buckle facing the target at the finish. This resulted in a proper weight transfer and moved the bottom arc consistently on the target side of the golf ball.
